Simply put Transflective films work by absorbing the sunlight and transferring it back through the LED panel at the proper angles, so the sunlight is turned into an enhanced backlight. We get rid of the cheap DBEF films that they use in the stock LCD panel and replace them with a carefully selected high quality 3M film stack. This increases the brightness of the stock panel by 50%.
